Concept B.180
A Bonhôte-Immobilier SICAV project
The name Concept B.180 has been chosen to reflect the environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions of this project throughout its development process.
The “B.” is a nod to the project owner, Bonhôte-Immobilier SICAV, as well as referring to the Beauregard location, and to the notion of biodiversity. The “180” refers to the 180-degree unobstructed view from the site and signifies the open-minded approach, creativity and innovation applied to the design of the project.

The development in detail
The site is ideally located to the west of Neuchâtel city centre and offers exceptional views over the lake and mountains, which are its hallmarks. The green landscapes in which these 17,500 m2 are set are equally remarkable, thanks in particular to the green corridor that runs through the site, left intact despite the steady urbanisation of this hillside.
Four new buildings will be erected, providing a total of 163 housing units in a variety of categories: condominiums, assisted living accommodation, social housing, a cluster for disabled persons, eco-compliant units and standard rentals. The apartments will come in a wide range of shapes, sizes and categories, ranging from studios to 5 1/2 rooms. Two car parks under the buildings will accommodate 145 vehicles, thereby leaving as much land as possible unpaved and encouraging active mobility.
The existing Matile building, located at the centre of the site, will be preserved as a memorial and used as a community space for residents.
This new development addresses sustainable development in a number of ways, in determining how buildings are shaped, how timber can be used instead of concrete, as well as dictating building techniques and underscoring the importance of biodiversity in landscaping activities. These aspects are all part of a drive for simplicity, sensible energy use, lower maintenance costs and a closer relationship with nature. Importantly, no objections were filed during the public consultation.
The four buildings, which will take 30 months to complete, are due to welcome their first residents in the second half of 2026.
